This kit was fun enough to work on, though many of the pins had blunt ends and were difficult to push through the cardboard, making my fingers very sore. I was a bit disappointed that the kit only includes enough cardboard pieces to make six pictures, but I used my own cardboard that I measured and cut so I could make extra pictures with the leftover sequins and pins. The pictures themselves were also smaller than I thought they would be. I still recommend the kit, though it has its flaws.
When I got this I thought that it was going to be just a insert of sequins and pins and there would be a picture to follow. They have beautiful pics in the manual but when it comes down to it, you really have to create your own with your own imagination. Mine came out great!
my granddaughter and I really enjoyed this kit. She's 7 years old and once I explained the directions, she had no problem completing the tasks at hand. However, at her age she has a limited attention span as well as patience and would get somewhat bored. Nevertheless, she completed the projects and was pleased with herself for doing so.
My 10 year old really enjoys these projects! Her fingers get a little sore from all the pin-pushing, but the final products are really neat and make great room decor!
Cheap product. The thin round colored discs attach by a straight pin to make the design. The pin can easily come unattached, fall on the floor and possibly cause injury. Not a good product. We'll probably throw this away as it's too late to return it now.
